Our Saturday outreach team welcomes the community into our drop in center located at 4589 Adelaide St (the corner of Johnston and Adelaide) on Saturday evenings from 5:30pm – 7:00pm. This service is available for everyone that attends. This program fills a gap in service by providing food security over the weekend. Food hampers, basic and urgent needs items as well as a hot meal is offered. There are also social inclusion activities and life-skill workshop topics during the evening.
Our KUU-US van goes out every Saturday morning to pick up donations from local grocery stores as our labelled donation boxes are placed in these locations for anyone to drop off nonperishable food items as well as hygiene items that we in turn hand out to during the weekly outreach on Saturdays and Sundays.
KUU-US Crisis Services
